TORRE

GENERAL DESCRIPTION - total area of the apartment : 90 mq.

The apartment "La Torre" sleeps 4 (but it's possible to add a bedspace for a children younger then 12 years old).

The guests of apartment "La Torre" may enjoy a large green space near to the house's wall (there is also a canopy to cover a part of the garden) and all around; outside, garden furnishings and a beautifull view, guarantee a sense of relax and wellbeing.

The apartment has been restored started from the original structure, we worked to rebuild according to the traditional medieval Tuscany houses. (To have more information about our licences: "Territorial Plan of Coordinations" - "Urban an Landscape Section", Province of Siena.)

Apartment "La Torre" is a vertical structure: ground floor, first floor and second floor.

The entrance door is an ancient arch at the groud floor: the kitchen - living room is here; the wooden spiral staircase starts from here and goes upstairs, to the first floor: a bedroom and bathroom is here. From the first floor the same spiral staircase goes up to the last floor: a second bigger bedroom is here, with its beautiful view on Tuscany landscape.

KITCHEN (ground floor) - the kitchen is realized of masonry and wood; the cooktop is a Carrara Arabesqued Marble surface, 4 burners, fridge and deepfreeze, microwave oven (the fireplace is only decorative), 2 sinks, safety system for gas emissions; there is electric machine to have hot barley or hot coffee, but also Moka (Italian coffee). There is a large safe, TV and analogue satellite receiver (Astra/Hot Bird).

The water is drinkable (we've got a water softener).

FIRST BEDROOM: (first floor) -this bedroom is at the middle level of the tower, at the same stage of bathroom (in the picture on the right: spiral staircase and bathroom's door). The bedroom sleeps 2; ther's a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a niche with radio and telephon (but only a switchboard telephone line). The view from each window of the tower is so evocative. SECOND BEDROOM (second floor) - two windows are opening in the wall of this bedroom: your eyes will overlook onto a wide, beautiful view (click here to enter "panorama section" and "Charming Sunsets"). To enter this bedroom it's necessary to pass through the first bedroom (because of the vertical structure of the house, there aren't doors).

The interior design is composed of old-style furnishing: the walnut wooden wardrobe, the tablebeds are in tipical Tuscan style, the iron beds' structures are handmade; the ceiling, made of bricks and wooden beams, has the shape of a "V" , i.e. " ^" (look at the picture made from the spiral staircase)
